§ 91.03 ENFORCEMENT.
   The provisions of this chapter and the state’s statutes pertaining to animal control, shall be enforced by the County Animal Control/Shelter and the County Sheriff’s Department. The County Animal Control/Shelter remains, as the entity designated by the County Board of Health, in the investigation and quarantine, and/or strict confined observation, procedures concerning rabies and animal bites. The County Animal Control/Shelter will work with the State Board of Animal Health, and/or the State Veterinarian, concerning rabies testing of animals that have bitten humans or other animals.
