§ 37.07 BAD CHECK SERVICE FEE.
   Whenever any person, firm, corporation, or partnership shall present a check to any county office, or county official or employee, in payment of any tax, fee, fine, or other charge in connection with official county business, and whenever such check shall be returned to the county after deposit because of insufficient funds, stop payment, or account closed, such person, firm, corporation, or partnership shall pay a service charge of $20 to cover the additional administrative cost necessary to process such check. Such service charge shall be in addition to the amount necessary to cover the funds represented by such check.
