Pursuant to the Interlocal Cooperation Act, the city has entered into an agreement with the Henderson Rural Fire Protection District Board creating the city’s Ambulance District Board. The Board shall consist of the Mayor and City Council, and five members of the City Rural Fire Protection District Board. The City Ambulance District Board shall have the control over the operation and maintenance of ambulance service to residents of the respective public agencies.
