For the purpose of this part, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
EASEMENT. A granting of land by an owner, for a specific use by persons other than the owner.
RIGHT-OF-WAY. Public land used or to be used as a street or highway including alleys and boulevards.
