The city’s Clerk-Treasurer may be removed from office by a majority of the Council with or without case. If he or she has served as Clerk-Treasurer for more than one year, written charges and a public hearing shall be provided if requested within ten days of the Council’s action. The hearing must be held within 30 days of the request of the hearing.
