There shall be established the following rates and charges for the use of the water system of the Village, based upon the amount of water consumed as follows:
(A) WATER SERVICE - INSIDE VILLAGE LIMITS.
$9.37 Minimum for the first 1,000 gallons per month
$5.44 per 1,000 gallons over 1,000 gallons
(B) WATER SERVICE - OUTSIDE VILLAGE LIMITS.
$11.04 Minimum for the first 1,000 gallons per month
$6.94 per 1,000 gallons over 1,000 gallons
(C) WATER SERVICE – MAPLE LEAF SUBDIVISION.
$11.04 Minimum for the first 1,000 gallons per month
$6.94 per 1,000 gallons over 1,000 gallons
$25.00 as repayment for Environmental Protection Agency loan authorized by Ordinance 02-03.
(D) The water rates established by this Section for use of water services provided by the Village shall be effective as of January 1, 2021. Such rates shall then be adjusted effective as of January 1 of each calendar year thereafter to affect an increase of two percent (2%) over the respective water rate applicable for the calendar year immediately prior to such increase. However, the monthly repayment amount for the Environmental Protection Agency loan which is applicable to the Maple Leaf Subdivision shall not be subject to this automatic increase provision. (Ord.
