§ 51.06 MUNICIPAL LIEN PROCEDURES.
   (A)   The city shall file in the office of the County Clerk any notice of lien created by ordinance or under authority of law. The notice of lien shall include as required by Tex. Local Gov’t Code, § 552.0025:
      (1)   Legal description of the property against which the lien is established;
      (2)   Utility account number for the delinquent charges;
      (3)   Penalty, interest, and/or collection costs.
Additional information not required by the Tex. Local Gov’t Code will include the following:
      (4)   Ordinance number under which the lien is established;
      (5)   Name of the owner of the property against which the lien is established as determined from the records of the Rockwall County Assessor;
      (6)   Amount of the lien.
   (B)   A lien for charges or assessments which are provided for or fixed by any one ordinance or under authority of law may be included in the same notice of lien, and it shall not be necessary to file separate liens against the same property. The lien shall be attested in the name of the city under the seal of the municipality.
