§ 30.03 ONE READING OF ORDINANCES.
   (A)   That Ord. 011206 which provides for two readings of ordinances by the City Council is hereby repealed in its entirety.
   (B)   From the effective date hereof, each ordinance submitted to the City Council shall be effective, if adopted by a majority vote of the Council, upon one reading, unless the Council determines that it would be in the public interest to require a second reading. If the reading is determined by the Council to be necessary, the reading shall occur at least seven days after the first reading.
   (C)   That this section shall become effective from and after its adoption and it is so ordained.
