Any person violating any provision of this chapter, or as amended, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction therefore, shall be fined in a sum in accordance with the general provisions of the code of ordinances, and each and every day the violation continues shall be considered a separate offense; provided, however, that penal provision shall not preclude a suit to enjoin the violation.
