There is created a Historic Preservation Committee for the city to consist of the Mayor and four other members to be appointed by the Board of Commissioners for staggered terms of one, two and three years as determined by the Board of Commissioners. The Committee shall periodically review this chapter and other activities of the Board of Commissioners, and shall work in conjunction with other civic organizations to promote the preservation of historic structures, landmarks and other features within the city.
