(A) The Building Inspector shall enforce the provisions of the Kentucky Building Code, the Kentucky Residential Code, and the 2012 International Property Maintenance Code as the same may be hereinafter in effect within this jurisdiction. All building code inspections shall be performed by persons certified by the Kentucky Department of Housing, Buildings and Construction. All electrical inspections shall be performed by a certified electrical inspector specifically approved by this jurisdiction. Appeals by persons aggrieved by decisions of the Building Inspector shall be governed by § 150.20.
(B) The State Plumbing Inspector shall enforce the provisions of the State Plumbing Code. Appeals by persons aggrieved by decisions of the State Plumbing Inspector shall be governed by state law.
(C) The Fire Chief shall enforce the provisions of the State Standards of Safety. Appeals by persons aggrieved by decisions of the Fire Chief shall be governed by state law.
