(A) The City Manager, subject to the approval of the Board of Commissioners, is hereby authorized and directed to install at the city water plant those appliances and the equipment necessary for the proper fluoridation of the water supply of the city.
(B) The city shall not be liable for any injury which might result from fluoridation of the city’s water supply, except such injury as may be the direct or proximate result of gross negligence on the part of the city, its agents and servants.
