(A) No officer of the city or any city agency shall represent any person or business, other than the city, in connection with any cause, proceeding, application or other matter pending before the city or any city agency.
(B) Nothing in this section shall prohibit any officer or from representing himself or herself in matters concerning his or her own interests.
(C) No elected officer shall be prohibited by this section from making any inquiry for information on behalf of a constituent, if no compensation, reward or other thing of value is promised to, given to, or accepted by the officer, whether directly or indirectly, in return for the inquiry.
