A. Provisions Adopted: There are hereby adopted by reference the rules and regulations for the storage, sale, use and display of fireworks, including penalties therefor, as set forth in title 5, chapter 5 of the Kootenai County Code, a copy of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk and by this reference made a part hereof. However, notwithstanding any provision of this section, the penalties provided for in title 5, chapter 5 of the Kootenai County code shall not exceed those provided for in Idaho Code sections 39-2609, 39-2613 or any successor statutes.
B. References: All references to Kootenai County and the elected officials and employees set out in title 5, chapter 5 of the Kootenai County code shall be and the same are hereby changed to mean the city and the elected officials and employees thereof.
C. Interpretation: The city council reserves unto itself the interpretation and intent of title 5, chapter 5 of the Kootenai County code to carry out the principles thereof. (Ord. 273, 8-4-2015)
