The salaries of the mayor and of the members of the city council shall be as follows:
A. Mayor: The mayor shall receive a monthly salary in the sum of one thousand three hundred twenty dollars ($1,320.00). The mayor shall be entitled to receive employee benefit offerings available to other officers of the city, except that the mayor shall pay fifty percent (50%) of the cost of the mayor's dependent healthcare coverage.
B. Council Members: Each member of the city council shall receive a monthly salary in the sum of six hundred sixty dollars ($660.00). Each city council member shall be entitled to receive employee benefit offerings available to other officers of the city, except that each council member shall pay fifty percent (50%) of the cost of their dependent healthcare coverage.
