§ 51.25 REPAIR/RETAP SEWER LINES AND TAPS.
   (A)   When it is deemed necessary to replace or repair a tap off of the main sewer line, the following procedures will be followed: the owner of the tap will notify the town that a sewer tap needs replaced or repaired.
   (B)   Responsibilities of the property owner are as follows:
      (1)   Notification - Utility Notification Center of Colorado;
      (2)   Procuring digging equipment and personnel to complete the project will be done with the Town Superintendent or designee’s approval;
      (3)   If a tap needs replaced, the town will replace or repair the tap at the property owner’s expense;
      (4)   If ditch is to be covered by cement or asphalt, the ditch will be replaced with fill gravel, to minimize settling. If not covered by asphalt or cement, the original fill may be replaced, but must be compacted to the satisfaction of the Town Superintendent or designee. This work will be done at the property owner’s expense;
      (5)   Curb and gutter, cement or asphalt replacement will be at the property owner’s expense. This work will be completed within 30 days of project start date; and
      (6)   Backfill, cement and asphalt replacement will be completed to the satisfaction of the Town Superintendent or designee.
