(A) No person shall leave any excavation made in the street or the highway open at any time without barricading, and during the night time lights must be maintained at such excavations.
(B) In making repairs, the sidewalks, the paving or bricks and earth removed, must be deposited in such a manner that it will occasion the least inconvenience to the public and provide for the passage of water along the gutters.
