§ 50.09 WATER TAPS; PROHIBITION AND CHARGE; AUTHORITY AND TOWN DUTIES.
   (A)   No water taps shall be made by anyone other than the town, and there shall be a charge established by resolution of the Board of Trustees, and the Board of Trustees, by resolution, may increase or reduce the rates or change the charges when it determines that the scheduled charge is inequitable or improper.

   (B)   (1)   The Superintendent of Waterworks shall have charge of tapping the water mains and he or she shall have charge of and be responsible for the tapping machine and all supplies used in and about the waterworks system purchased by the town.
      (2)   The town will furnish all pipe and appurtenances required in tapping the water mains and water meters, and bring the pipe to the outside line of the sidewalk, for the sum of $30 for each tap, which includes the price of the meter.
      (3)   The water connection will be made by the town upon application by the water consumers in the order of the applications.
