§ 33.03 AMENDMENTS.
   (A)   The following amendments to this subchapter and §§ 33.15 through 33.19 and 33.30 through 33.33 of this chapter shall not be made unless approved by a majority of the registered electors of the town voting thereon at a regular or special election:
      (1)   Any increase in the sales tax rate set forth in § 33.16 of this chapter, or the use tax rate set forth in § 33.31 of this chapter;
      (2)   Any other amendment to this subchapter and §§ 33.15 through 33.19 and 33.30 through 33.33 of this chapter which constitutes a tax policy change directly causing a net revenue gain to the town; or
      (3)   Any change in the allocation of revenues as described in § 33.02(A) of this chapter.
   (B)   Except as otherwise provided by division (A) above, the Board of Trustees may make any amendment, alteration or deletion to this subchapter and §§ 33.15 through 33.19 and 33.30 through 33.33 of this chapter, without submitting the question of the same to the registered electors.
