§ 152.33 FAILURE TO REPAIR/CONSTRUCT; ASSESSMENT TO PROPERTY OWNER FOR WORK DONE BY TOWN; LIEN.
   If the property owners shall not construct, widen, repair or reconstruct the sidewalks or other improvements, according to the requirements of such ordinance within the time therein named after service of such notice upon them, the Board of Trustees may order that such sidewalk be constructed, widened, repaired or reconstructed by or under the direction of the Street Commissioner and assess the cost thereof against the property fronting upon the sidewalk, and the amount so assessed shall be the cost of construction, widening, repairing or reconstruction of the sidewalk, and shall include the cost of the service and publication of notice, and all expenses made necessary by these proceedings and the amount so assessed shall be a lien upon the property until the same is paid.
