§ 152.29 CONSTRUCTING OBSTRUCTIONS; REPAIRING UNDER SUPERVISION, ORDER OF TOWN OFFICIALS.
   No scale stands, hitch racks, hitching posts or other obstruction shall hereafter be erected, kept or maintained in front of any sidewalk provided in this subchapter to be six or eight feet in width, and no walks shall be constructed, widened, repaired or rebuilt in the town, without notice to and under the supervision of the Board of Trustees or Street Commissioner who shall be by the owner notified thereof and in case the same is not provided for by ordinance, shall designate the width and grade, and how the same shall be constructed, as provided in this subchapter, and in cases where a sidewalk has been broken, worn or defective, it shall be the duty of the Commissioner to notify the owner, agent or person having charge of the property adjoining the sidewalk needing repair and to order the necessary repairs made thereon within a reasonable time, which shall be stated in the notice, and any person so notified shall repair the walk within the time stated in this subchapter.
