(A) Variances from the provisions of § 110.21 of this code of ordinances may be granted by the town’s Police Department upon written application, of not less than three days in advance of the day for which the said variance is requested and upon payment to the police of a refundable $50 deposit to cover any damages and added town services which may occur as a direct or indirect result of the variance.
(B) A variance is granted to members of the town’s Fire Department allowing them the privilege to consume alcoholic beverages within the building owned by the town and known as the “Haxtun Fire Hall”. This right is not vested and may be withdrawn by a majority vote of the Board of Trustees at any time without notice to the parties concerned.
