(A) Office created. There is created the Office of Street Commissioner of the town, who shall be an elector of the town and be appointed by and hold office at the pleasure of the Board of Trustees of the town.

(B) Duties. The Street Commissioner so appointed shall have the supervision, care and control of all streets and alleys of the town, subject to the direction of the Board of Trustees.
