§ 92.34 PIPING, JOINTS AND CONNECTIONS.
No piping, tubing, valves or connections shall be used or installed for use in the use, handling or storage of flammable gases, unless the same comply with the following requirements and specifications.
   (A)   All piping and tubing shall be of wrought iron, steel, brass or copper, with a wall thickness of forty-nine one-hundreds of an inch, and suitable for a safe working pressure of 125 pounds per square inch.
   (B)   (1)   All joints shall be made with fittings capable of withstanding a pressure of 125 pounds per square inch for gas pressure of less than 100 pounds per square inch. Heavier fittings shall be used for greater pressures.
      (2)   Joints for wrought iron or steel pipe shall be welded. Cast-iron fitting shall not be used.
   (C)   No liquefied petroleum gas shall be piped or led into any house or other habitation, industrial or other building, at greater than eight-ounce pressure. No piping other than rigid iron pipe with air-tight connections, and capable of a working pressure of not less than 125 pounds, shall be used in conveying liquefied petroleum gases from the regulator equipment to and into the appliances.
   (D)   Fill connections shall be equipped with approved back pressure check valves. All containers, except relief connections, equipped with automatic excess flow valves. All connections to containers, except gauge and safety shut off valves close to container. Discharge from safety reliefs shall be located not less than five feet from any opening to a building below the level of such discharge.
