A person desirous of installing, erecting, constructing or operating a satellite antenna system may apply for a special use permit therefor from the Village Plan Commission 1 . The Plan Commission shall consider the application in accordance with applicable procedures set forth in this Code. The Plan Commission may recommend a special use permit to the Village Board of Trustees to construct a satellite antenna system; provided, that the proposed system shall satisfy all of the following criteria:
A. The system as proposed shall be compatible with existing uses in the surrounding area.
B. The system as proposed shall be screened, or otherwise situated, so as not to be a visual obtrusion to surrounding properties.
C. The construction and installation of the satellite antenna system shall strictly conform to all applicable Village Code provisions.
D. The proposed satellite antenna system shall only be situated within the buildable areas of a lot, exclusive of front yard and corner side yard.
E. The proposed satellite antenna system shall have no adverse impact on adjacent properties.
F. The proposed satellite antenna system shall be structurally sound and adequate for anticipated wind loads, and must have a permanent foundation therefor. (Ord. 345-84, 9-11-1984)
