5-2-1: STATE LAW PROVISIONS ADOPTED:
   A.   Purpose: This chapter is designed to assure uniform application of state and municipal regulations concerning the ownership, use, operation and regulation of certain statutory offenses.
   B.   State Law Provisions Adopted: The following enumerated sections of the Illinois Compiled Statutes, exclusive of any provisions thereof relating to the penalties or the punishment to be imposed for violation of such sections, are adopted and by reference made a part of this chapter with the same force and effect as though set forth herein verbatim, and the term "this act", wherever used in any such section, shall mean this chapter, when necessary to effectuate the meaning of the section: (1995 Code)
