4-6-4: ADDITIONAL REGULATIONS FOR RESIDENTIAL ESTABLISHMENTS:
Notwithstanding any provisions of this section to the contrary, the following regulations shall apply to all persons receiving residential scavenger service:
   A.   The owner or occupant of every single-family dwelling unit shall provide and maintain in good condition and repair not less than one residential refuse container. The owner or agent of every multiple dwelling having not more than four (4) dwelling units shall provide and maintain in good condition and repair not less than one refuse container per dwelling unit.
   B.   Refuse containers, refuse toters, landscape waste units, landscape waste toters and recycling containers are to be stored at the side or rear of the residence, except from three o'clock (3:00) P.M. on the day prior to collection to eight o'clock (8:00) P.M. on the day of collection, when said refuse containers, refuse toters, landscape waste units, landscape waste toters and recycling containers may be placed at the curb.
   C.   The items which may be placed for collection and pickup shall be as follows:
      1.   An unlimited number of residential refuse containers.
      2.   An unlimited number of landscape waste units and/or landscape waste toters.
      3.   An unlimited quantity of recyclable material contained in one or more recycling container(s).
      4.   An unlimited quantity of bulk items.
   D.   Each customer shall be billed directly for residential scavenger service, at a rate which is determined from time to time by the contract entered into between the village and the scavenger. (Ord. 769-96, 7-16-1996)
   E.   All refuse/recycling container enclosures shall be maintained in a clean, sanitary condition and otherwise in conformance with the standards for such enclosures established by the board of trustees. The gate(s) on each enclosure shall be kept closed except when depositing or removing material from containers within any such enclosure. (Ord. 915-00, 10-9-2000)
