A. Regular Meetings: The village board shall hold its regular meetings on the fourth Monday of each month at five o’clock (5:00) P.M. and at other times as the board may determine in accordance with the open meetings act, being 5 Illinois Compiled Statutes 120/1 et seq., as from time to time amended.
B. Special Meetings: The mayor or any three (3) trustees may call special meetings of the village board.
C. Notice Of Meetings:
1. The village clerk is hereby authorized and directed to publish the following notice in a newspaper of general circulation within the corporate limits of the village:
NOTICE
The regular Village Board meetings of the Village of Hawthorn Woods, Lake County, Illinois, will be held on the fourth Monday of each month, at 5:00 P.M., Village Hall, 2 Lagoon Drive, Hawthorn Woods, Illinois.

2. A copy of said notice shall also be posted at the principal office of the village and shall be supplied to those news media which have filed an annual request for notice as provided in section 120/2.02 of the open meetings act, being 5 Illinois Compiled Statutes 120/1 et seq.
