A. Absence: Absence from three (3) consecutive regular meetings without notice to the Commission shall be deemed to constitute a resignation of a member and the vacancy thus created shall be filled thereafter by appointment of the affected city council for the remainder of the term of the member so deemed to have resigned.
B. Removal: Each city council by a four-fifths (4/5) vote of its total members shall have the authority to remove any member of the Commission representing that individual city from office whenever, with due cause, the best interest of the city shall be served thereby. The Commission shall also have the authority by a four-fifths (4/5) vote of its total members to remove any member of the Commission, with due cause, when the best interests of the Cluster shall be served thereby. The city council of the removed member shall be responsible for naming a replacement person for the Commission. (Ord. 196, 1-26-1994)
