7-7-4: MAIL RECEPTACLE LOCATION REQUIREMENTS:
   A.    Compliance Of Property Owner: The property owner is solely responsible to fill out an application to the USPS for delivery to a mail receptacle on the parcel they own. The property owner must comply with all requirements of both the USPS and the city of Hawley.
   B.    Purchase, Installation, Maintenance And Replacement: The purchase, installation, maintenance and replacement of mail receptacles used by customers for mail delivery are the sole responsibility of the property owner.
   C.    Prohibited Rights Of Way: Due to the nature and use of the following public streets and alleys, no mail receptacles shall be allowed within the rights of way of the following streets and rights of way:
      1.    Fifteenth Street.
      2.    Downtown business district: That portion of the city specified by the following streets: Sixth Street from Valley Street to Hartford Street; Main Street from Seventh Street to Fourth Street; Front Street from Eighth Street to Fifth Street; Fifth Street from Main Street to Front Street; and Hobart Street from Seventh Street to Fifth Street.
      3.    Hobart Street west of Tenth Street.
      4.    Valley Street east of Sixth Street.
      5.    Joseph Street between Seventh Street and Eighth Street.
      6.    All alleys and utility easements.
   D.    Grouping Of Mail Receptacles Prohibited: No grouping of mail receptacles or mailboxes is allowed on any parcel right of way within the city of Hawley. This does not apply to locked cluster boxes. (Ord. 247, 6-9-2008)
