A. Straightening Of Watercourses: The City Council shall have power to establish and maintain draws, canals or drains; to alter, widen or straighten watercourses and prevent the destruction of any street, alley or public ground and remove or abate the cause or cause the same to be removed or abated.
B. Throwing Of Filthy Substances Into Sewers Or Drains: No person shall cast or throw or cause to be cast or thrown into any drains or sewers within the City any filthy substance or any substance calculated to cause any obstruction, nuisance or injury in the same. (Ord. 40, 6-3-1907)
