6-3-5: RULES OF OPERATION:
   A.    Operation Of Snowmobile: No person under fourteen (14) years of age shall operate on streets or the roadway surface of highways or make a direct crossing of a trunk, county state aid road, county highway, or city street as the operator of a snowmobile. A person fourteen (14) years of age or older, but less than eighteen (18) years of age, may operate a snowmobile on streets and highways as permitted under this chapter, and make a direct crossing of such streets and highways only if he has in his immediate possession a valid snowmobile safety certificate issued by the commissioner of natural resources of the state as provided by Minnesota statutes, section 84.872, as amended.
   B.    Operation Of ATV/Motorized Golf Cart: No person under sixteen (16) years of age shall operate on streets or the roadway surface of highways or make a direct crossing of a trunk, state aid road, county highway, or city street as the operator of an ATV or motorized golf cart.
   C.    Owner Responsibility: It is unlawful for the owner of a snowmobile, ATV or motorized golf cart to permit the operation contrary to the provisions of this section. (Ord. 237, 7-26-2004)
