9-1-8: CONFORMITY TO GRADE:

All sidewalks and curbs must conform with the established grade and sidewalk line to the satisfaction of the engineer, and it shall be unlawful for any person to build or construct any sidewalk or curb until the grade therefor and line thereof shall be established and marked upon the ground by the engineer. (Ord. 97, 8-5-1910)
