The provisions of § 90.46 shall not apply:
(A) To animals impounded in or upon City property pursuant to the provisions of § 90.17(B);
(B) To animals that are part of a City-approved organized exhibition, parade, or other activity being conducted in or upon City property;
(C) Service animals performing duties under the guidelines of the Americans with Disabilities (ADA) Act; provided, however, that all the animals shall remain subject to the provisions of G.S. §§ 168-4.2 through 168-4.4; and
(D) To dogs trained for police duties and under the control of the Police Department of the City.
(E) To dogs in or upon the designated dog park area of Sermons Park. All persons must comply with the posted rules and regulations.
