No person shall stand or park a vehicle except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with the directions of a police officer, fire official or his or her designee, or a traffic-control device in any of the following places:
(A) On a sidewalk or multi-use path;
(B) On a crosswalk;
(C) Within thirty (30) feet of any flashing beacon, stop sign, or traffic-control signal located at the side of a street or roadway;
(D) Alongside or opposite any street excavation or obstruction when the stopping, standing, or parking would obstruct traffic;
(E) Upon any bridge or other elevated structure or within any underpass structure;
(F) Within fifteen (15) feet in either direction of the entrance to a hotel, motel, theatre, hospital, sanatorium, or any public building;
(G) On the roadway side of any vehicle stopped, standing, or parked at the edge or curb of a street;
(H) Within thirty (30) feet of the intersection of right-of-way lines, or intersection of right-of-way lines so extended in case of radius type right-of-way lines, of intersection of streets;
(I) Within fifteen (15) feet in either direction of a fire hydrant or the entrance to a fire station;
(J) In front of a public or private driveway; and/or
(K) At any place where official signs prohibit stopping.
