§ 150.11 BUILDING CODE ENFORCEMENT; VIOLATIONS.
   The Building Inspector is authorized to enforce the provisions of this subchapter. If he or she finds that nay of the provisions of this chapter are being violated, he or she shall serve written notice, by certified mail, upon the person or persons responsible for the violation, indicating the nature of the violation and ordering the action necessary to correct it, and, if the violation remains unabated following service of the notice, the inspector thereafter shall have the power to issue a citation for each such violation and to assess the offender with a civil penalty in accordance with § 150.16. The Building Inspector shall maintain accurate records of all building code violations and concerning building permits and certificates of occupations issued, and aby correspondence concerning these and related documentation. The records shall be public records and may be inspected at the office of the administrative officer during normal business hours.
