3-1-6: REQUEST FOR HEARING; CITY COUNCIL DECISION:
   A.    Request: Any person ordered to abate a nuisance may have a hearing with the city council as to whether a nuisance exists. A request for hearing must be made in writing and delivered to the officer ordering the abatement, or it will be conclusively presumed that a nuisance exists and it must be abated as ordered. See subsection 3-1-3C1 of this chapter relating to the time for requesting the hearing.
   B.    City Council Decision: At the conclusion of the hearing, the city council shall render a written decision as to whether a nuisance exists. If it finds that a nuisance exists, it must be ordered to be abated within an additional time which must be reasonable under the circumstances. (2004 Code)
