921.99 PENALTY.
   (a)   Whoever violates Section 921.32 is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.
 
   (b)   If a violation of any provision of this chapter, except Section 921.32 is found, a written notice, stating the nature of the violation shall be sent by the Superintendent by first class mail to the person apparently guilty of the violation. This notice shall be deemed sufficient, in the event of violation, if sent to the address of that person as shown on Division of Water records. The notice shall, in all cases, set forth a time limit during which all noted violations shall cease and be abated, and appropriate corrective action taken, provided such time limit in no event shall exceed 180 days. If the violator does not then comply, the provisions of the following subsections shall apply.
   (c)   Any person who continues any violation beyond the time limit provided for in subsection (b) hereof is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree. Each calendar day during which any such violation continues shall be deemed a separate offense.
   (d)   Whoever violates any provision of this chapter shall become liable to the Village for any expense, loss or damage occasioned the Village by reason of such violation, notwithstanding whether such person may have been prosecuted criminally for a violation of the terms of this chapter.
   (e)   Any person violating State and/or Federal regulations as a consequence of violating any provision of this chapter shall be subject to any penalties imposed by State and/or Federal regulations, irrespective of the provisions of this chapter.
