901.04 MAILBOX POLICY.
   (a)   In the event municipal snow plowing, by Village employees or agents working at the direction of the Village, along the streets of the Village, results in direct contact damage to a mailbox or mailbox post, reparation in the amount of said damage, but in no event in an amount greater than thirty dollars ($30.00) shall be paid to the applicable property owner upon proof of such damage and repair submitted to the Village Administrator within 30 days of such damage and repair by owner.
   (b)   Mailboxes damaged as set forth herein shall not be replaced in kind.
   (c)   All labor for repair and/or replacement of damaged mailboxes or mailbox posts shall be the responsibility of the owner.
   (d)   The provisions of this policy shall not apply to mailboxes or mailbox posts damaged by anyone other than a Village of Haskins employee or agent working at the direction of the Village of Haskins.
   (e)   Maintenance of mailboxes and mailbox posts is the sole responsibility of the owner. (Ord. 2014-5. Passed 12-1-14.)
