§ 150.019 MECHANICAL CODE.
   (A)   Code adopted. The International Mechanical Code 2003 Edition, as published by the International Code Council, Inc., is hereby adopted as the Mechanical Code for the city for regulating and governing the design, construction, quality of materials, erection, installation, alteration, repair, location, relocation, replacement, addition to, use or maintenance of mechanical systems as herein provided; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefore. The Mechanical Code, printed in book or pamphlet form, is hereby incorporated by reference in addition to all amended editions as though printed in full herein, insofar as such code does not conflict with the statutes of the state or other specific model codes adopted by the city or other specific laws of the city. One copy of the Mechanical Code is on file at the office of the City Clerk and is available for public inspection at any reasonable time. The provisions of the Mechanical Code shall be controlling throughout the city and throughout its extraterritorial jurisdiction.
   (B)   Revisions. The following sections of the Mechanical Code are hereby revised:
      Section 101.1. Insert: City of Harvard, Nebraska.
      Section 101.2. Amend to read: “Scope. This code shall regulate the design, installation, maintenance, alteration and inspection of mechanical systems that are permanently installed and utilized to provide control of environmental conditions and related processes within buildings inside the corporate limits of the City of Harvard, Nebraska, and within one (1) miles thereof, whenever said City is exercising its extraterritorial zoning jurisdiction within said one (1) mile area, except where otherwise specifically provided. This code shall also regulate those mechanical systems, system components, equipment and appliances specifically addressed herein. The installation of fuel gas distribution piping and equipment, fuel gas-fired appliances and fuel gas-fired appliance venting systems shall be regulated by the International Fuel Gas Code.”
      Section 103. Delete.
      Section 106.5.2. Delete.
      Section 106.5.3. Delete.
      Section 108.4. Delete.
      Section 108.5. Amend by deleting: Any persons ... dollars.
      Section 109.2.1. Delete.
      Section 109.5. Delete.
