§ 90.03 MINIATURE PIGS; PERMITS; REGULATIONS.
   (A)   The keeping of miniature pigs, such as Vietnamese potbellied pigs (sus scrofa bittatus), shall be allowed within corporate limits.
   (B)   A miniature pig shall not exceed a weight of 200 pounds.
   (C)   No more than three miniature pigs shall be allowed per household.
   (D)   All miniature pigs shall be spayed or neutered.
   (E)   All miniature pigs shall be kept within an enclosed area bounded by a six-foot privacy fence. Such enclosure shall be maintained in a clean condition, free of accumulated refuse, manure and debris.
   (F)   All miniature pigs shall be licensed by the city on an annual basis. The license fee shall be set by separate resolution.
   (G)   Breeding or raising of miniature pigs is prohibited within corporate limits.
   (H)   The owner of any miniature pig causing damages to property or persons shall be liable for such damages to the person(s) injured.
   (I)   Any miniature pigs in violation of any provision of this section shall be subject to impound by the animal control authority. The owner of any miniature pig in violation of any provision of this section shall be subject to the general penalty in § 10.99 and may be assessed the costs for boarding, care and disposal of said animals.
