§ 90.02 LIMIT ON NUMBER OF DOGS AND CATS PER HOUSEHOLD.
   (A)   No property owner, tenant or occupant shall allow more than three adult dogs or four adult cats per household, except as authorized by special permit approved by the City Council. A kitten shall be considered an adult cat at 15 weeks of age. A puppy shall be considered an adult dog at 12 weeks of age.
   (B)   Violation of this section may result in a fine not to exceed $500 and/or seizure of excess animals, with costs for boarding, care and disposal of excess animals assessed to the person found to be in violation. Each animal in excess of the limits established by this section shall constitute a separate violation.
