(A) Under no circumstances shall the City Council approve any permit to drill or operate any of the following facilities within the indicated number of feet from the city’s municipal water well:
(1) Potable water well: 1,000 feet;
(2) Closed loop geothermal well: 100 feet;
(3) Any other well: 1,000 feet;
(4) Sewage lagoon: 1,000 feet;
(5) Absorption or disposal field for water: 500 feet;
(6) Cesspool: 500 feet;
(7) Dumping grounds: 500 feet;
(8) Feedlot or feedlot runoff: 500 feet;
(9) Livestock pasture or corral: 500 feet;
(10) Chemical product storage facility: 500 feet;
(11) Petroleum product storage facility: 500 feet;
(12) Pit toilet: 500 feet;
(13) Sanitary landfill: 500 feet;
(14) Septic tank: 500 feet;
(15) Sewage treatment plant: 500 feet; and
(16) Sewage wet well: 500 feet.
(B) These measurements are taken from 179 Neb. Admin. Code Chapter 2 and will change automatically if said title measurements are revised.
