§ 31.098 ACQUISITION OF LAND, REAL ESTATE OR BUILDINGS.
   The City Council for the Arts shall be empowered, with the approval of the Common Council of the city, to acquire and maintain any lands, real estate or buildings necessary for the purpose of encouraging and maintaining the visual or performing arts. The buildings, lands or real estate shall be used only for the purposes for which the City Council for the Arts originally acquired them and shall not revert to any other use without the approval of the Common Council of the city and, if a grant-in-aid from a foundation or governmental use was involved in the acquisition, the approval of the foundation or governmental unit which provided a grant-in-aid for the acquisition.
