§ 31.078 PURPOSES AND OBJECTIVES.

   The purpose and objectives of the Youth Council are:

   (A)   To provide a direct communication vehicle between the youth of the city and the city’s administration;

   (B)   To strive for better understanding and communications between the youth of the city, the city’s administration and the community as a whole;

   (C)   To create its own projects related to Youth Council purposes and objectives;

   (D)   To encourage the city to provide activities for its young people;

   (E)   To support, aid and assist persons or organizations with ideas or projects which promote Youth Council purposes and objectives;

   (F)   To provide Youth Council members with the experience of working with city government; and

   (G)   To provide better understanding and harmonious relationships among youth.
