(A) The Common Council hereby adopts the provisions of Ch. 138 of the Acts of the 1957 State General Assembly, as amended, I.C. 36-4 et seq.
(B) The city hereby agrees to join in and participate with the Area Planning Department of the county, which was established by a separate ordinance of the county, and which was organized at its first meeting called by the President of the Board of County Commissions.
(C) The membership of the County Area Planning Commission shall be set forth in I.C. 36-7-4 et seq.
(D) Upon its passage and proper signature, a copy of this section was certified to the Board of County Commissioners of the county, the respective officials of the City of Montpelier, Indiana, and the President of the Board of County Commissioners.
