The Clerk-Treasurer of the city shall notify the Clerk of the County Election Board of the provisions of this subchapter and that there will be no election for the office of City Judge in 1987 due to the abolition of the City Court. The Clerk-Treasurer shall inform and notify the Secretary of the State, the Judge of the County Circuit Court and the State Court Administrator at the State Supreme Court that the City Court has been abolished and of the effective date of said abolition.
