For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions apply unless the context clearly requires a different meaning.
DRIVER’S LICENSE. A valid license to operation a motor vehicle which is issued by the state or by any other state.
FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY. Liability insurance coverage on a golf cart in an amount not less than is required by applicable state law for motor vehicles operated on public highways within the state.
GOLF CART. A vehicle with four wheels originally designed for operation on a golf course which is powered by a battery or an internal combustion motor.
