(A) Any time the City Fire Department is called to the scene of an accident, the responsible party shall reimburse the City Fire Department at full replacement cost for any emergency response equipment or supplies which are damaged, lost, spent, destroyed, rendered irreparable or “used up” in responding to or managing the incident.
(B) (1) In addition to the reimbursement obligations contained herein, the responsible party shall be billed by the Fire Chief or his or her designee of the City Fire Department for the initial response with a hazardous material response unit, air van, mobile communications unit or other emergency response vehicles as deemed necessary to recover from the incident as dispatched:
(a) Two hundred fifty dollars per response vehicle, except for a command/control vehicle; and
(b) Seven hundred dollars per command/control vehicle.
(2) For each hour or fraction thereof as on- scene assistance:
(a) Seven hundred fifty dollars per response unit, except for a command/control vehicle; and
(b) Fifty dollars per command/control vehicle.
(C) It shall be noted that the fee schedule established in division (B) above is in full accordance with state law, I.C. 36-8-12-16.
