(a) The Magistrate of the Mayor’s Court of the City, is hereby authorized to assign legal counsel licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio to those eligible defendants who are determined to be unable to provide legal counsel through their own means.
(b) The compensation for said legal counsel shall be at the rate of two hundred twenty- five dollars ($225.00) per case assigned for processing of said case in the Magistrate’s Court and an additional two hundred twenty-five dollars ($225.00) for representation of said defendant in the Municipal Court of Hamilton County, Ohio, if the decision of the Magistrate is appealed to the Municipal Court.
(c) The Finance Director is hereby directed to pay for such legal representation at the rate set forth herein from the Magistrate Court’s account upon submission of a statement for same from assigned legal counsel.
